Marriage

I know and believe that everyone in the world is conditioned from his or her birth.All your feelings about your religion and your attitude towards others is greatly effected by the conditions you went through.No human is a Hindu,Muslim or Christian by birth.He was brought up, following and believing some practices that were imposed by a certain religion.Imagine what you would be doing if there you are brought up in a forest, no school,study but danger from animals.You will adapt yourself to that life.Just as early man did.Slowly,as the society was built up,they started following some social rules.At first they were simple and unwritten as the groups were small in the form of villages.But as time passed, there were written rules and punishment for violating each rule.Since, world is vast, different countries developed different cultures.Different countries have different punishments for same crime.One country may regard some thing as a crime, while some other may not....!!!

I think, marriage is one of the social custom invented and developed by humans to differentiate humans from dogs and other animals.Irrespective of region and religion, they give certain degree of importance to marriage. It is one of the important things that is guiding the social structure of the world.Like many things in this world, Marriage has its pros and cons.

1)Social effects of marriage:

Advantages:

Firstly, Marriage creates a sense of responsibility in taking care of offspring.This provides a strong support to the future generations of the country.The more emphasis a culture and country lays on marriage, the stronger are the future generations as they gain adequate knowledge from their parents and guidance.

Secondly,It provides a sense of security and comfort for the couple.It also joins 2 large groups or families by building new relations between them.I see marriage as Second birth in this world because, we double the number of relations we already have.The persons who are unknown or nothing to you become your relations overnight.......!!!

Thirdly, a good relationship based on mutual trust between the couple eliminates the sense of lonely feeling. They face the problems together.

Disadvantages:


It narrows down the vision of a human.Makes him more selfish.Makes him forget that every individual needs to have certain facilities.They concentrate on ultra high facilities for their own children but doesn't care about destroying the carrier of some other child directly or indirectly.They try to accommodate a lot of wealth for their children and sometimes doesn't care if their methods of earning are fraudulent.

It suppresses the potential of the couple.It can be any gender.As the Males form larger section of the working class, I think, the family tensions,steep raise in economic requirements and the indirect nature of women (his wife) will show its effect on his work potential and satisfaction.The women (though form a smaller but rapidly developing workforce) face the responsibility of bringing up the children.Many well educated and talented women stopped working to take care of children.And as there is no other person who could take care of child better than the mother, I feel that this is a necessary evil.

When misused, It can lead to gender domination and source of variety of crimes.

Religious Believes:

Though each religion give due respect to marriage, there are some unspoken rules(conditioning or religious believes) about the gender responsibilities.Currently, these rules are being misused to suppress the women's rights.

These different levels of importance given to marriage in different castes will lead to difference in justice.The same case with Hindu won't yield the same judgement as the case of Muslim.There is no common law for all individuals.

My Belief about Marriage:

To say in a polite way, Marriage is a licence to have children as well as the responsibility to trust and respect your partner and provide guidance to the young ones.
I think, sexual attraction is commonly known animal trait.It creates a sense of false pleasure and also helps in continual of race of any species.The humans tried to make it look good and different from other animals.

Human:Life lead by hormones

If we categorize humans, based on their age and gender and  keep the society out of the equation to make it simple, you will notice some striking similarities.I feel that everyone is exactly equal when we came out from our mother's womb (keeping abnormalities like mental and physical illnesses out of the equation).Whether you are rich or poor,whether you are from America or Africa.Then we are slowly conditioned by the society around you to adopt its rules and develop your character accordingly.But before that conditioning and even after that conditioning, people show some striking similarities at various stages of life....particularly during the young and the old, it is very significant....

Example:The child psychology is not different for an Indian and an American.They behave in a similar manner. Then comes the teens.When the body undergoes some rapid changes and brings changes even in the mental state by producing and pumping some new hormones, the entire thinking of an individual changes.He/She sees the world from a different point of view.The feelings of sexual attraction are absent in case of children but suddenly sprang up when they grow up to teens.The reason is hormones.There are many other hormones which cause different feelings like anger, sorrow and more.

When I thought about the reason for the sexual harassment and other cases, I felt that either the sexual desire for men is far more stronger than women or women are stronger in controlling their emotions.Being a boy,I felt that the former is more appropriate.Then I realized that it is physically impossible for a women to initiate sex.....She just tries to attract and it is always the man who initiates the process.So it logically fits well that body of men should produce certain hormone that drives him crazy about sex, and should be more powerful than women's hormones.These are the hormones which create a sense of false pleasure and excitement.On the top of it, people make and distribute porn, to make money.This gives some wrong impression about sex(I think so).I feel that realization of this fact and ability to discriminate your feelings automatically brings a sense of control which ultimately controls these acts

Then If you observe carefully, there is a slow but steady change in the thought process of man(though conditioned) which makes him attracted and bounded to family.Finally, comes the old age.....where people seem to forget things, tend to get too obsessive etc....  and there are some obvious striking similarities among the old irrespective of caste or nation.All this is a trick of brain and the body.It has the capability to change or create feelings which I believe are NOT our true feelings but just a mechanism of nature to ensure the existence of species.

I experienced and hence believe that at any point of time in our life, there are our true feelings and those that are just created by the brain. And it takes a lot of self inquiry to separate our ACTUAL feelings from others.There are 2 choices for any human at any point of time.To stay in control,be the master of your own feelings and discriminate between what you want and what you REALLY want.Or simply follow whatever strikes your mind and become a puppet to the body.
